Starcom Location Control Unit (LCU500) and the Starcom Personal Locator (PL500) receives its location data from the GPS card integrated into the unit. In case of break-in, distress, or remote status request, the unit sends the data to the Routing application which communicates with the unit via the cellular network and is updated as to the location and status of each of the sensors installed in the car or carried by a person.
