GPS Tracking systems - Types and Information

GPS tracking systems
Gps tracking systems help in the location of vehicles, persons, fleet and record the position of the object at regular intervals so a log of movements can be created. The data itself is kept either inside the unit, or sent to a remote computer by radio or cellular modem.

The different types of GPS tracking systems:
Data loggers
Logging the device's position in the internal memory. Using a memory card slot, or internal flash memory and a USB port to act as a USB flash drive.

Data pushers
Called pushers because the location of the device is pushed/sent to a determined server that quickly analyses the data that is sent.

Data pullers
These devices remain connected 24/7, and are queried whenever required.
